Sunday Church School classes are available for all toddlers through high school. All ages meet in the Sanctuary at 9:45am for the opening, then proceed to their respective classrooms.
Adult Classes start at 9:45am in the Fellowship Hall, and are led by laity and by the pastors. The Adult Classes have at least four major topics throughout the year. Lively discussions are held, and topics are picked based on evaluations and interviews from the congregation. Please join us in exploring the Bible and the Lutheran faith. Everyone is welcome. Men’s Bible Study is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 8:30 a.m. First Communion instruction is provided for baptized children ages four years old and up. Instruction is taught quarterly. New Member Classes are offered periodically for persons interested in membership at House of Prayer. Vacation Bible School Day Camp is held Monday through Friday for one week in June. The day camp runs from 9am to 3pm, with crafts, songs, snacks, Bible stories and special events for children Kindergarten through 8th grade. A special morning program is offered for three-year-olds through PreK. Our Library is located on the second floor next to the elevator. Books and videos may be borrowed any time. This is a self-service library. |
